Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. These terms apply to the Beacon IPTV application and the portal at https://beaconiptv.com, provided by Katoomba B.V. ("we").

1. What Beacon IPTV is

Beacon IPTV is a media player application for Samsung Smart TVs and a companion web portal. It plays playlists (M3U or Xtream Codes) that you supply. We do not provide, host, sell, distribute or recommend any television channels, films, series or other content, and we have no affiliation with any content provider.

2. Your responsibilities

You may only add playlists that you are entitled to use. You are solely responsible for the legality of the content you access through the application in your country. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.

3. Trial and subscription

Each TV receives a free trial of 7 days. After the trial, use of the application requires an active subscription linked to your account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Playlist credentials you store are encrypted at rest and used only to sync your own devices.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the application and these terms; material changes will be announced on the portal.

6. Liability

The application is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, for the content of third-party playlists, or for the availability of third-party services.

7. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Consumers in the EU keep the protections of their national law.
